Associate Professor Doug Fenton-Lee, B.Med Sci, MBBS, FRACS, is a consultant Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon consulting at St Vincent’s Clinic and operating at St Vincent’s Public and Private Hospitals, Sydney. He is a Visiting Medical Officer in the Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery Unit of St Vincent’s Public and Private, Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in Surgery at the University of Notre Dame and Conjoint Senior Lecturer in Surgery at The University of New South Wales. He also consults at Miranda and operates at Kareena Private Hospital, Sydney.

The practice provides surgical consultation and management for a wide variety of conditions with a focus on laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. He has successfully incorporated a minimally invasive approach to the management of patients with cancer using keyhole techniques to improve post-operative outcomes. He is a leader, teacher and innovator in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and is one of the most experienced surgeons in this field in Australia.
